Cheerleader Lee Ah-young signs a contract with Taiwanese professional baseball team Fubang Guardians.

Lee Ah-young, a popular Korean cheerleader and SNS star, signed a contract with Taiwanese professional baseball team Fubang Guardians.

Ayoung Lee has expanded her scope of activities in Taiwan. Lee A-young, who previously entered the Taiwanese stage by signing a contract with the Leopards, a Taiwanese men's basketball team, plans to showcase his talent on the Taiwanese professional baseball stage as well.

The Fubang Guardians are based in New Taipei City and are one of the indispensable teams in Taiwanese professional baseball. This team, which was officially founded in November 2016, has Fubang Financial Holdings, one of Taiwan's top five groups, as its parent company, and is attracting attention for its abundant financial power and aggressive investment. Although the team has a short history, it is growing rapidly, including the hiring of coach Hong I-chung, who played for the Lamigo Monkeys.

Lee Ah-young began his activities in Taiwan in earnest by signing a contract with the Taiwanese men's basketball team Leopards last January. His contract with Leopards led to partnerships with a number of high-profile brands, including an exclusive modeling contract with Taiwan's Elle Sports. With various activities planned, including the production of his TV commercials, Lee Ah-young's scope of activities is expanding beyond sports entertainment to include fashion and advertising.

Lee Ah-young, who gained popularity on social media after working as a cheerleader for the NC Dinos of the KBO League until last year, is expanding her influence in Taiwan and solidifying her position as an influencer. One Pick ENT, which helped Ayoung Lee advance into Taiwan, said, "We plan to fully support Ayoung Lee's activities in Taiwan. We will strive to continue her success in Korea in Taiwan."
