It is a rare carbonated hot spring in Korea and is a favorite destination for travel experts.  While 95% of hot springs across the country are simple springs and sulfur springs, this is Korea's best carbonated hot spring with a total of three components including free carbonate, bicarbonate ion, and sodium, which are found to be the highest in the country.

The carbon dioxide gas absorbed into the skin stimulates and expands the capillaries, which has the effect of lowering blood pressure and relieving the burden on the heart.  The hot springs around Sanbangsan Mountain have a view of Hallasan Mountain, making you feel like you are in nature.

As word of mouth spreads,  you can better enjoy carbonated hot springs in clean water by visiting in the morning rather than in the evening.

Indoor hot springs include lukewarm springs, hot springs, hot springs, and cold springs. In hot springs, excluding raw water baths and cold springs, carbonated ingredients evaporate due to heat, so bubbles are invisible to the eye, but healthy ingredients such as minerals remain. In the outdoor open-air bath, you can enjoy cold baths, couple baths, and stone wall hot spring baths while feeling the standards of the majestic Sanbangsan Mountain.
