While the conflict between Hive and Adore CEO Min Hee-jin shows signs of prolonging, various suspicions have been raised against Hive's flagship group BTS , which has sparked a 'spark' for their fandom. ARMY took collective action.
According to the music industry on the 3rd, ARMY issued a statement in
the form of a full-page advertisement in some newspapers under the name
of 'BTS' fan army' and said, "Hive and Big Hit Music are taking
responsibility for the indiscriminate attacks and slander against BTS.
“We demand immediate legal action and clear notification of the
progress.”
They also raised their voices, saying, "Hive's Chairman Bang Si-hyuk
and CEO Park Ji-won should stop playing media that uses BTS as a shield
against the agency's internal and external negative issues."
ARMY said, “We support ‘BTS,’ not Hive,” and added, “An agency that
does not protect its artists has no reason to exist. Failure to fulfill
the agency’s obligations can usually be a factor in contract
termination. “We know,” he warned.
Some ARMYs asked the day before, 'When will artists be protected?' They
sent a protest truck with phrases such as the following to the Hive
headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, and also announced online that they
would send a 'condolence wreath' with protest phrases to the
agency.
Hive previously said that all BTS-related hoarding marketing, concept theft, Danworld connection rumors, and pseudo-suspicion were all untrue, and filed a complaint against the authors of posts that spread false information and defamation to an investigative agency.
As of December last year, all members of BTS are serving in the military. Among them, the eldest brother Jin, who enlisted first and is serving at the Army 5th Division Recruit Training Center, will be discharged on the 12th of next month.
