Ive, Japan Summer Sonic sortie in August... Heat continues until Tokyo Dome in September

Group Ive will appear at Japan's largest music festival. 

According to the 'Summer Sonic' official website on the 1st, it was named in the lineup of 'Summer Sonic 2024', which will be held at Osaka World Expo Commemorative Park in Osaka, Japan on August 17th and at ZOZO Marine Town & Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on the 18th.

'Summer Sonic' is Japan's largest urban music festival, visited by about 200,000 people every year, and invites not only Japan's top artists but also world-class musicians to present performances of various genres. Ive, who has enjoyed explosive popularity in the local market and received a lot of love, once again proves his global presence by appearing on 'Summer Sonic'. 

Even before his official debut in Japan, Ive's debut song 'Eleven' was selected as the theme song for Fuji TV's 'Virtual Adventure Island 2022', and he has been in the spotlight of NHK's special program 'SONGS+PLUS'. 


Afterwards, Ive, who officially debuted in Japan in October 2022, topped the Oricon daily chart with the Japanese version of 'Eleven', entered 'Eleven' at 9th on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, and won the Record Association of Japan with his debut single album 'Eleven'. They showed off their potential by being listed on the 'Gold Disk' selected by . 

Their first Japanese album 'Wave', released in May last year, ranked first on the Oricon Daily and Weekly Album Charts, Tower Records' All Stores Comprehensive Album Chart, and Billboard Japan Weekly Top Album Sales Chart. Recently, on Billboard Japan's latest 'Streaming Song' chart, the title song 'I Am' from the first full-length album 'I Have Ive' achieved 100 million cumulative streams. 

As evidence of this rising popularity, Ive will hold an encore performance of his first world tour 'Show What I Have' at Tokyo Dome in Japan on September 4th and 5th, about two years after his official debut in Japan. 

Following his entry into the Tokyo Dome and confirmation of his appearance in 'Summer Sonic 2024', attention is focused on the global moves that Ive will show in the future, as he is further solidifying his position in Japan.
