Jennie of girl group Blackpink was spotted at the Met Gala
considered the largest event in the American fashion industry. Jenny
attended the 2024 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New
York, USA on the 6th (local time) and walked the red carpet. This year's
theme was 'Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion' and top Hollywood stars
including Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, and Steven Yeun showed
up.
On this day, Jenny wore a cobalt blue, cut-out dress with a stylish
draping that flowed beautifully along her body line, and she posed
confidently, attracting the spotlight from local reporters. According to
local magazines such as Elle and Teen Vogue, the dress Jenny
wore was from Alaïa
, a Tunisian-born French fashion designer brand. In particular, her
tight up-do hairstyle, a strong eye line reminiscent of a cat eye,
glitter eye shadow, and nude-toned lips complemented Jennie's luxurious
beauty.
This is not Jenny's first time attending the Met Gala. In 2023, she
attended the Met Gala honoring the late legendary designer Karl
Lagerfeld and showed off her beauty as the 'human Chanel'.
The Met Gala started in 1948 to raise operating funds for the Costume
Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and to
commemorate the opening of an annual exhibition, and is the 'Super
Bowl of the fashion world' with many celebrities attending.
Jenny established his one-person agency, Odd Atelier, and is
preparing his solo album. He recently featured in Zico's new song
'Spot', sweeping the top spot on domestic and international weekly
charts.
